Dream Girl is one of the characters from the comic book series Legion of Super Heroes. She was created by Edmond Hamilton and John Forte in comic book series Adventure Comics in the nineteen sixties. In every Legion of Super Heroes series she is featured as one of the main characters besides from founding members Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad. She is one of the characters that captivates me the most of all because of her powers of precognition. This means she can see the future in her dreams. She first appeared in Adventure Comic #317 and since then she became a very fond member of the Legion of Super Heroes.Her description is simple although throughout the years her design has changed she is recognized with silver hair similar to the X-men character known as Storm. To my knowledge there were four to five versions of the Legion of Super Heroes and there were also one television series in which she was designed by James Tucker and voiced by the actress Tara Platt. I have done research three versions the Silver Age, Zero Hour (Reeboot) and Threeboot. Silver Age Legion of Super Heroes was done in the eighties. Dream Girl's design was with a star shaped mole on her left cheek her uniform was completely silver. It was one of the memorable designs of Dream Girl. Another favorite design was from Threeboot series the artist was Barry Kitson and interesting new uniform for the new design of characters for the new 2004 series of Legion of Super Heroes.
Basically Dream Girl real name is Nura Nal and she is originally from Planet Naltor part of the United Planets a system of planets which has united to form an age of unparallel peace and prosperity in the 31st Century. This utopia was brought about by heroic deeds of Superman who was the main influence for the Legion. The inhabitants of Naltor has the power to see into the future. None of the inhabitants were advance as Nura Nal. She could have seen the future in her dreams. Scientifically this is called precognition. It is a certain form of telepathy or psychic power. Nura Nal had a premonition of all the Legion members dying on a mission. So to prevent this from happening she set out to join the Legion. She went to audition and was a complete hit (with the guys) but other members include Saturn Girl thought it would not be formidable in battle. Still she weas accepted into the team.
Dream Girl had made several video cameo appearances from time to time but featured in the hit series of Legion of Super Heroes which was produced by James Tucker and Linda M. Stiener.
